Snoshu Birmans and Selkirk Rex

Adults for Rehoming

If you think you can offer Teddy and Carley a home. Please discuss with love ones in your household first before sending me an email. I want to find the right home for Teddy and Carley and I am looking for someone who's going to be patient and give them the time to settle into their new home.

Teddy and Carley have come back to me, their breeder, due to no fault of their own. Their owner is terminally ill and is having carers coming into her home several times a day and finding it difficult to look after them.

Teddy and Carley are litter siblings, they are 5 years old 6 in November. We are looking for a indoor home where they can be together, as they are very close. They need a home where they are the only cats in the household. Would also consider a home with a secure garden or an outside run that they can go into ( like the one in the photo from their previous home) Would suit maybe a retired couple or someone who works from home as they are used to having someone around during the day. Sorry no young children, but they have been used to an old labrador cross rescue dog with a very calm temperament.

Teddy is a cream shorthaired homozygous Selkirk Rex male. He has a laid back temperament and is very affectionate. His owner refers to him as the dog cat as he likes to follow her around the house. Teddy is very happy to be groomed.

Carley is a blue cream longhaired homozygous Selkirk Rex female. She is a bit shy around strangers at first but once she gets to know you she is very affectionate and talkative. She really enjoys being groomed and being made a fuss of.

Teddy and Carley won't be ready to go to their new home until mid July. Due to the owner's health and COVID 19 situation their vaccinations have lapsed. They have had the first part of their vaccinations and were vet checked last Friday ( 19th June) and all went well. They are also GCCF registered, neutered and microchipped. There will be an adoption fee for both cats.
